Southern Virginia/Tidewater Chapter Of Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League (MAGDRL)

* Within these pages of Available Danes, you may come across a Gentle Giant that is listed as a "Rescue In Need". These are Danes with MAGDRL and are receiving treatment and training to help them overcome the abuse and neglect they have suffered before finding their way to us. Each of these dogs deserves a chance and our dedicated volunteers are working to save their lives. If you have the love and patience to accept one of this needy Danes in to your heart, Please do not overlook them and also considered that hopefuls for a place in your Home.

                                                         TAYLOR

Taylor is a 3 1/2 year old black female with natural ears. She comes from a very loving home and family that was very sad to see her go. Unfortunately their 2 year old child was recently diagnosed with serious medical issues and they couldn't continue to care for Taylor. She has lived with both a 2 and 4 year old child, and was fantastic with them. She is trustworthy in the house and gets along with other dogs. Cats are unknown. Taylor is a Velcro Dane and loves to just hang out with her people. Taylor came to MAGDRL in November 2007.

                                          MACK & ZACK

Mack and Zack are 5 year old male littermates that came to rescue due to their family divorcing. Mack is mantle with natural ears, and Zack is a deaf merlequin. They are sweet boys who have spent the majority of their lives outside. They have spent some time indoors, and are currently going through a refresher on house manners. They are scheduled for a vet appointment next week which will give us much needed information on their health status as they have not been to a vet since puppyhood. Mack and Zack have been raised with children, and does well with them. Because these two boys are bonded, and Zack relies on Mack, we would like to place them together. Mack and Zack came to MAGDRL in February 2008.
